Dixie On: Low Potent Watermelon Soda from Dixie Elixirs

Dixie Elixirs recently launched a low-potency watermelon soda called Dixie One that contains only 5 milligrams of THC. Joe Hodas, the company’s chief marketing officer, says the drink has done exceptionally well in a cannabis shop on the 16th Street Mall, a pedestrian promenade popular with tourists. The assumption he and others make is that tourists are more likely to be novices or casual users.
