Dixie Elixirs & Edibles supports the Amendment 64 initiative in Colorado this election. We believe in sensible regulation of marijuana as well as strongly endorse the legalization of the cultivation of industrial hemp in Colorado. The reasons for this are many, but include:
- Hemp is a sustainable fuel, fiber, and food source and is better for the environment. Hemp oil with cannabidiol is also use for therapeutic applications such as Dixie X.
- As a crop, hemp is ideally suited for Colorado’s climate and would be a large boost to Colorado’s economy.
- Marijuana is safer than alcohol.
- Legalization of marijuana for adults will reduce crime and use of marijuana by teens.
We encourage voters to read the important information at RegulateMarijuana.org and to vote by November 6, 2012.
